How We’re Doing

As a group of staff who are extremely passionate about giving the children who attend Clinton the best possible start in life, we have clear ideas of what great schooling looks like and we constantly reflect on what we’re doing, changing what we feel we should in order to continuously improve.

Schools are about people and not data, but when we get things right for the children the likelihood is that our SATs data is very positive and our Ofsted reports are very positive. In May 2019 the school was judged as ‘outstanding’, and, whilst we don’t design our work around achieving such accolades, we feel children have a fantastic schooling here.

SATs results will go up and down because one cohort has very different needs from another, but we are always proud of what children have achieve no matter what their starting point and what challenges they have had to face to reach where they have by the time they are ready to move on.
